"Motorbike Ride" 70x 40 cm oil on wood by Jacqueline Read
I painted 3 works on this theme. The inspiration was a tiny black and white photo of my dad on the motorbike. The photo was 2inches square. It was taken as a stationery photo, on holiday by the camping site, in the 1950's before I was born. My sister is on the back of the bike. I added my feelings and memory. I grew up loving my experiences riding on the motor bike pillion- usually going to the allotment. This is not for sale as this is a precious memory, but I do have cards of this picture for sale .
